Devotional Mumbaikars!!

Hmm.. guys, a slight diversion from our topic on Mumbai in my last Blog. Here, I am again with 'Mumbai city' hogging all the limelight in this blog, though it is not about the City as a place, but about those who make a place, a geographical location classified into Village, Town and City across the Globe. Yes, by now you must have guessed about what my this blog is about.

Well no prizes for right guesses, but congratulations!! you have guessed it right, it's about energetic people of the city. Let me share with you my experience about the Mumbaikar's. And what best could be than to start with the people in Mumbai local's.

You know that life in Mumbai is fast. Yes, it is true you'll find people moving in hurry to reach their destination in time and for most of them the mode of transport is the city's local trains. So, when people wake-up in the morning, the one thing over their mind is to reach their work-place in time, to reach in time they need to catch the local. In all this early morning rush, they don't get time to Pray(might be...). But, that does'nt mean they are atheist's, they do pray, but where.....? Well, they pray while travelling. Yes, in the busy local tains, where one hardly gets place to stand, you'll find people taking out their spiritual books (in the miniest form available in market) and start reading. Some people who have already byharted the whole book, just recite in mind.

Now, those were the trains, even in temples you will find crowd that one cannot expect on a normal day especially in the temples like Siddhivinayak, Mumbadevi and the Dargha Haji-Ali.
The queues will run into kilometers on the days of god and godesses or on any festival days. The real-estate people are the biggest profit-makers as they know that Mumbikars are very devotional the property rates near the above mentioned sites are high, even in that the flats from which these sites are visible(Windows) they are 20-30% higher than other.

Mumbai is a amalagmation of diffrent religion be it Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Parsis... and each religion with their different cultures, thus making it great cosmopolitan city of India. This my shallow insight into the lifes of Mumbaikar's. Thank you for reading.

Hope you enjoyed!!

Mumbai Locale --- Get-In-Or-Get-Out___Hmm...

Yeh hai Bombay, Yeh hai Bombay, Yeh hai Bombay... meri Jaan. Oh Sorry!!
If they will, it will be 'Yeh hai Mumbai, Yeh hai Mumbai, Yeh hai Mumbai.. Meri Jaan......'
This was the song along with little bit of thought came to my mind... when I successfully managed to get into the Mumbai Locale at the peak hours as they say... 'Managed' because geting into and out of locale is no less than a Task assigned to you... If fail to manage then Consequences will be awaiting for some in office, for some at home and for other at their work-places. Hmm... now that if you have managed to get in taking all the pain surviveing the thrust and push by the people getting down is also not just a step down from the train... In fact, all you have to do is align yourself with the line of passengers getting down and before you realise you already have got down.... isi'nt that cool!!

I am new to this city and the first experience of locale is something that will remain with me for years to come.
Please write and share your experiences with me... and give your feedbacks on my first Blog ever till date.
